I ordered through Daniel Defense and had it shipped to my local FFL, the whole transfer was easy. I was half expecting some kind of delay or mix-up, because that seems to happen sometimes, but everything went smoothly. I got the updates I needed, and when I showed up, the shop already had everything ready to go. I’m not the only one who appreciates it when a process is just simple and hassle-free, right? Overall, good experience and I’d use them again.

I check danieldefense.com every so often because the site is easy to use and the products look solid, but the inventory is hit or miss. A few things I was interested in stayed out of stock for a while, and there wasn’t much clarity on when they’d be coming back.
Overall, I like the site, but I do think if a company is selling premium gear, it’s only right to be more upfront with customers about availability or restock timing. It would make planning a lot easier and feel a little more respectful of people’s time.

I only looked through the manuals and docs, so maybe I’m not judging the whole experience, but they were easy to find and actually not bad to read. The diagrams made sense, at least to me, and the safety info was clear without feeling like overkill. I guess I just appreciated that they didn’t make basic information harder to get than it needed to be.

I ended up returning my order because it just wasn’t really what I needed. I had ordered it during a random week when I was trying to get a bunch of errands done before the weekend, so I was already kind of expecting the return to be one more annoying thing on my list.
Thankfully, the return itself was straightforward. I didn’t have to send a bunch of extra messages or explain the same thing over and over, which I really appreciated because I was just trying to get it handled and move on.

The refund showed up within the time they said it would, and there wasn’t any weird delay or hassle. I’ve had returns with other places turn into a whole situation, so this was a nice surprise. 5 stars from me for the refund process.

Overall, the grip feels good and the balance is decent, but the controls were a little stiff for my liking :/ It’s not bad at all, just not the most comfortable in hand.

Definitely something I’d use again.

I took it apart without much trouble, and it went back together fine. Everything seemed to line up the way it should, so overall it was a smooth experience.

The trigger feels super clean and easy to pull, like not heavy at all. The reset is nice too, really nice. So far, so good, I’m happy with it...

The build quality is solid and it feels like it’ll hold up well, but the weight balance seems a little off to me. It feels kind of front heavy when I’m using it, which gets annoying after a while. Also, the reminders to leave a review were way too aggressive, I would’ve gotten to it without being nudged so much.

I just had a basic question about my order, but getting a clear answer ended up taking way longer than I expected. The first response felt like they hadn’t really read my message. I called after that, and the person I spoke with wasn’t rude or anything, just not very helpful. For the price point, I was expecting better service. It did get sorted out eventually, but it was way more hassle than it needed to be. Has anyone else had the same kind of issue with their support?

It’s been solid on every range trip and I haven’t had any weird hiccups yet. That said, after a few small things that made me second-guess it, my confidence in it isn’t quite what it was at first.

The recoil on this feels soft, honestly. On target it stays better than I was expecting, so shooting it is easy for me.
